Aparg is looking for an experienced and highly responsible software professional to join the team. Aparg works AI-first: engineers use AI coding agents and LLM tools every day, and many projects include AI features. The role suits someone who is passionate about technology, communicates well and performs reliably on large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack applications with Laravel and Vue.js for large-scale client products
- Work daily with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) to implement, refactor and test features, and review AI-generated code critically
- Design and build REST APIs, and integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic or similar) into backend services
- Build AI features: retrieval over company data (RAG), document processing, AI assistants and background AI jobs
- Develop MCP servers that give AI assistants safe access to application data and actions
- Design data models, write efficient queries and cover code with automated tests
- Use Git and Asana, and communicate clearly in English
Required qualifications
- Higher education in computer science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Laravel (modern PHP) and Vue.js
- Excellent command of MySQL or PostgreSQL; knowledge of vector search (pgvector or similar) is a plus
- Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming and clean architecture
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in day-to-day development
- Experience integrating LLM APIs is a plus; familiarity with MCP is a plus
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and modern frontend tooling (Vite, SASS)
- Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest or similar)
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- Prior commercial experience in a related role
